Authorisation to a person for erection, maintenance, inspection and test.

(1) The Chief Electrical Inspector appointed under the Electricity Act, 2003 may authorise a person for the purpose of carrying out erection, maintenance, inspection and test of lift or escalator. (2) The manner, terms and conditions and the fees for authorisation under sub-section (1) shall be such as may be prescribed. (3) No person shall be authorised under sub-section (1) unless he fulfils qualifications and such other requirements as may be prescribed.
