Failure or refusal to enter into agreement.

1. (1) If any owner of any protected monument refuses or fails to enter into an agreement within such reasonable time as may be fixed by the Director, the Director may make a recommendation to the State Government for the acquisition of the protected monument under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, or any other law for the time being in force for the acquisition of land for public purposes.
2. (2) The State Government may, if it is satisfied that the protected monument is required for public purposes, acquire the same under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, or any other law for the time being in force as if for a public purpose.
