The Director of Studies in Basic Sciences and Humanities

21.

1. (1) The Director of Studies in Basic Sciences and Humanities shall be responsible for the supervision of the staff necessary for providing courses of study in the Basic Sciences and Humanities necessary in the curricula of students in the colleges and for the development and supervision of instruction programmes in these fields as required by the curricula of the University.
2. (2) The Director shall be a whole-time salaried officer and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board.
3. (3) The emoluments and other terms and conditions of service of the Director shall be such as may be prescribed by Statutes.
