Provided that the salary payable to the Lokayukta shall not be less than the salary payable to the Chief Justice of the High Court.

Staff of Lokayukta Staff of Lokayukta.—

1. (1) The Government shall provide the Lokayukta with such officers and employees as may be required for the proper performance of the functions of the Lokayukta under this Act.
2. (2) The conditions of service of the officers and other employees appointed under sub-section
3. (1) shall be such as may be prescribed.
