Provided that no such punishment shall be imposed without giving the student concerned a reasonable opportunity to show cause against the action proposed to be taken against him.

Deemed validity of appointments 30. Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law or instrument having the force of law for the time being in force, the appointments made to any post in the University in accordance with the Statutes and Regulations shall be deemed to be valid and in accordance with law.
