The National School of Delhi University Act, 2007
The National School of Delhi University Act, 2007 establishes and organizes a dedicated national law university in New Delhi. It regulates how the institution operates by defining its administrative structure, academic curriculum, financial management, disciplinary rules, and internal dispute procedures. The law directly applies to the university leadership, including the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor, as well as the faculty, administrative staff, and enrolled students. It matters because it creates an autonomous, high-quality center for legal education and research in the capital, ensuring transparent campus governance and training future legal professionals to strengthen the administration of justice and the rule of law.
