Security in lieu of attachment.
The Delhi Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 2001Any financial establishment or person whose property has been or is about to be attached under this Act may, at any time, apply to the Designated Court for permission to give security in lieu of such attachment and where the security offered and given is, in the opinion of the Designated Court, satisfactory and sufficient, it may cancel the order of attachment or, as the case may be refrain from passing the order of attachment. 13. (1) The Government shall, by notification, appoint one or more advocates who have been in practice as an advocate for not less than ten years, as a Special Public Prosecutor for the purpose of conducting cases in the Special Court. (2) Any person acting under the direction of the Special Public Prosecutor appointed under sub-section (1) shall be deemed to be a Special Public Prosecutor provided that such person has been in practice as an advocate for at least five years.
