Constitution of Special Areas
The Madhya Pradesh Town and Country Planning Act, 1973(1) If any area, town or city is designated as a Special Area in the regional plan, or if the State Government is otherwise satisfied that it is expedient in the public interest that any area, town or city should be developed as a Special Area, it may, by notification, designate such area as Special Area by such name as may be specified in the notification. (2) The limits of the Special Area shall be defined in such notification. (3) The State Government may, by notification— (a) alter the limits of a Special Area so as to include therein or to exclude therefrom such area as may be specified in the notification; (b) declare that a Special Area shall cease to be a Special Area. (4) Deleted.
