Execution of orders etc.
The Chhattisgarh Co-operative Societies Act, 1960Every order passed or adjudication made or decision taken by the Registrar under any provisions of this Act, every order passed by appellate or revision authorities, and every order or decision made by the liquidator, if not carried out: (a) shall be deemed to be a civil court decree upon the issuance of a certificate signed by the Registrar or a person authorized by him in this behalf, and shall be executed in the manner as a decree of such court is executed; or (b) shall be executed according to the law and rules that are in force for the time being for the recovery of arrears of land revenue; or (c) shall be executed by the Registrar or any other person empowered by the Registrar in this behalf by way of attaching and transferring or selling, or selling without attachment, any property of the person or society against whom such order, decision or award has been obtained or passed, in such manner as may be prescribed: Provided that any application for recovery under clause (b): (1) shall be made to the Collector and shall be accompanied by a certificate signed by the Registrar or a person authorized by him in this behalf; and (2) shall be made within five years from the date fixed in the order, decision or award, and if no such date is fixed, within five years from the date of the order, decision, or award, as the case may be.
