The Research Council

The Research Council.—(1) There shall be a separate post-Graduate Research Council in each faculty of the University for the registration and proper guidance of research work which shall work under the general control of the Academic Council.

1. (2) The Post-Graduate Research Council shall consist of the following persons, namely :—
   • (a) The Vice-Chancellor;
   • (b) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor;
   • (c) The Dean of the Faculty concerned :
   • (d) All University Professors and Heads of those Departments, which have no University Professors, of the concerned Department :
   • (e) Four teachers of the concerned Faculty to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor in each academic year.
