Enrolment and Discharge of Special Armed Police Officers

Enrolment and Discharge of Special Armed Police Officers :-

1. (1) Before any person is appointed to the Special Armed Police, the statement in Schedule II shall be read and, if necessary, be explained to him in the presence of Commandant or Deputy Commandant and shall be signed by him in acknowledgement of its having been so read to him.
2. (2) Special Armed Police Officer shall not be entitled to be voluntarily discharged from the Force, except in accordance with the terms of the statement which he has signed under this Act.
