Classes and Grades of Special Armed Police Officers

Classes and Grades of Special Armed Police Officers :-

1. (1) The hierarchy of the Special Armed Police Officers shall be as mentioned in Schedule III of the Act; Provided that the government may, by notification, add or delete any of the posts in the said Schedule.
2. (2) Military Police Officers who are continuing in office on the date of commencement of this Act, shall be deemed to have been appointed as Special Armed Police Officers under this Act.
