The Bihar Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Act, 2015
This law amends local governance rules in Bihar, India, applying to rural residents, voters, and local elected representatives. It regulates local administration by establishing Ward Sabhas, which are neighborhood level assemblies empowered to direct development projects, verify welfare beneficiaries, and manage local sanitation.
