Removal of Directors and Chief Executive Officers

(1) The members of the Managing Committee gr chief executive officer of the state co-operative Bank or central co-operative Bank shall fulfill such criteria as may be stipulated by RBI. (2) A Person who does not fulfill the criteria for the post of chief Executive officer or a member in the committee of the state co-operative Bank or a central co-operative bank as stipulated by the Reserve Bank shall be treated as ineligible for such post and if such person is holding the post, he shall be removed by the Registrar on receipt of advice to this effect from the Reserve Bank or the National Bank.
