Addition of a new section-11A after section-11 of the Act 6 of 1935

(1) The following Section-11A shall be inserted after section-11 of the Bihar Co-operative Societies Act, 1935, namely: — “11A, Registration of societies not registered under this Act— Where a society registered under section-5 of the Bihar Self Supporting Co-operative Societies Act, 1996 intends to convert itself into a co-operative society under this Act, it may apply for registration under provisions of this Act in accordance with procedure to be prescribed and notified by the Government.”
