Statutory text

(1) No person shall engage in the practice of begging, hawking articles for sale in and around the tourist areas.
(2) Whoever commits offences under sub-section
(1) above shall be punished with a fine which may extended to three thousand and subsequent offences shall be punished with fine which may extend upto rupees ten thousand and whoever habitually engages in such offences shall be punished with fine of thirty thousand.
