Revisional Authority
The Assam Tourism (Development and Registration) Act, 2024The Government may appoint Revisional Authority by notification published in the Official Gazette either on its own motion or on an application made by an aggrieved party, who when call for the records of any case disposed of by an Appellate Authority, for the purpose of satisfying itself as to the correctness, legality or propriety of any order passed by the Appellate Authority and may pass, such order thereon, as it may deem fit and such order shall be final: Provided that no such application for revision shall be entertained after the expiry of three months from the date of receipt of the order of the Appellate Authority: Provided further that Revisional Authority shall on its own motion can call for the record of any case decided or pending before any authority and pass such order as it may deem fit: Provided further that no order under this section shall be made to the prejudice of a person unless he had a reasonable opportunity of being heard either personally or through a counsel or by a duly authorized agent.
