Administrative Officer
The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Act, 2008(1) The Administrative Officer shall be appointed by the Executive Committee for a term of three years and on such other terms as may be prescribed by the Regulations. (2) The emoluments and other terms and conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed by the Regulations. The Administrative Officer shall retire on attaining the age of 60 years. (3) The Administrative Officer shall have overall control over all the staff excluding the Faculty. He/She shall be the Member Convener of the Executive Committee. (4) It shall be the duty of the Administrative Officer,- (a) to be custodian of the records and such other property of the Constituent Institute as the Executive Committee shall commit to his charge; (b) to issue all notices convening meetings of the Executive Committee, Board of Studies and of any Committee appointed by the authorities of the Institute; (c) to keep the minutes of all the meetings of the Executive Committee, the Board of Studies and of any Committee appointed by the authorities of the Institute; (d) to conduct the official correspondence of the Executive Committee and the Board of Studies; (e) to represent the institute in suits or proceedings by or against the institute, sign powers of attorney and verify pleading; and (f) to perform such other duties as may be specified in these Statutes or the Regulations or as may be required, from time to time, by the Executive Committee or the Director.
