Powers of entry and inspection
Andhra Pradesh Prohibition Act, 1995The Collector, Executive Magistrate, any Prohibition Officer any Special Enforcement Bureau Officer or any Police Officer, not below the rank of an Sub-Inspector may enter and inspect at any time by day or by night, any place in which it is reasonably suspected,- (a) that any liquor is kept for sale or stored otherwise than in accordance with the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, and the rules made thereunder; or (b) that an offence under section 7, section 7A section 7-B, section 8 section 8-A, section 8-B or section8-C is being committed; and may examine, test, measure or weight any material, still, utensil, implement, apparatus or liquor found in such place.
