Educational qualifications

(1) Certain officers of the University namely,- (i) Vice-Chancellor; (ii) Registrar; (iii) Deans of Faculties; (iv) Director of Research; (v) Director of Extension; (vi) Dean of Student Affairs; and (vii) Controller of Examinations must possess Post Graduate Degree and Doctoral Degree in any branch of Fisheries Sciences and these Degrees must be awarded by the State Agricultural/Veterinary/Fisheries University or the Institutes under Indian Council of Agricultural Research. (2) The in-service/retired teachers of the University shall be exempted from the provisions of sub-section (1). (3) Fishery Faculty Teachers retired from SVVU before the establishment of APFU shall also be exempted from provisions of sub-section (1).
