Chapter II ESTABLISHMENT OF UNIVERSITY
Statutory text
- (1) There shall be established a University by the name of 1 [“Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University ”]
- (2) The headquarters of the University shall be at Kurnool,
- (3) The first Vice-Chancellor and the Executive Council and the Academic Council and all persons who may hereafter become such officers of members, so long as they continue to hold such office or membership, are hereby constitute a body corporate by the name of 2[“Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University”] and the said University shall be a residential, teaching and affiliating University.
- (4) The University shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the said name.
- (5) In all suits and other legal proceedings by or against the University, the pleadings shall be signed and verified by the Registrar and all processes in such suits and proceedings shall be issued to and served on the Registrar.
