Functions of Area Committee

The functions of the Area Committee shall be— (a) to make recommendations to the Board as to the areas in the notified area for which schemes may be prepared; (b) to prepare schemes for areas in the charge of the Assistant Commissioner; (c) to perform such other functions pertaining to land improvement as may be specified in this Regulation or in the rules made thereunder; and (d) to carry out the instructions issued by the Board from time to time.
