Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise require—

1. (a) “Anant Kumbh Nidhi” Haridwar means fund established for conservation and development of the Kumbh Mela Area;
2. (b) “Chairman” means Chairman of the Executive Committee of Anant Kumbh Nidhi, Haridwar;
3. (c) “Vice-Chairman” means Vice-Chairman of the Executive committee of Anant Kumbh Nidhi, Haridwar;
4. (d) “Member Secretary” means Secretary of the Executive Committee of Anant Kumbh Nidhi, Haridwar;
5. (e) “Year” means 12 months commencing on the first day of April;
6. (f) “Fund” means the receipts received as per the provisions of this Act;
7. (g) “State Government” means the Government of Uttarakhand.
