Access to all classes, Castes, Creed and Gender in the University

The University shall be open to all persons irrespective of class, caste, creed or gender; Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to prevent the university from making special provisions for admission to permanent resident of Uttarakhand; Provide further that nothing in this section shall be deemed to require the University or other Campus and Constituent College, Regional Centre, Study Centre, Research Centre and Career Academy Centre to admit in any course of study a larger number of students than may be determined by the University Grants Commission and other concerned Statutory/Regulatory body.
