Amendment of section 17

For section 17 of the principal Act, the following section shall be substituted, namely- "Every member or former member of the Assembly whether or not he holds any office referred in clause (f) of section 2, facility for treatment of self and family members abroad shall be permissible if referred by All India Institute of Medical Sciences and the cashless treatment facility (Golden Card) applicable to the personnel of the Uttarakhand State, shall be applicable to the members and it shall include the major hospitals of the State, Fortis of Delhi and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Center Delhi and AIIMS, Delhi or the medical expenses shall be reimbursed."
