Claim petition for public or private property

On receipt of the report of concerned circle officer of police which is based on First Information Report of the incident and other information gathered in the, meanwhile, the District Magistrate or the Head of office shall take immediate steps to file claim petition before the Claims Tribunal for compensation, preferably within three months of the date of causing of the damage to the public property.
