Chapter IV Chapter IV
Statutory text
- (1) The Board of Governors shall consist of:
- (a) the Chancellor - Chairman
- (b) the Vice - Chancellor - Member-Secretary
- (c) Principal Secretary/Secretary to the State Government in the Higher Education Department or a Secretary to the State Government nominated by the State Government.
- (d) Five persons nominated by the TALEEM Research Foundation, Ahmedabad
- (e) A nominee of the U.G.C. ;
- (f) Three eminent educationists and academicians of the State, out of whom at least one will be a woman, nominated by the Visitor.
- (g) Three academicians out of whom at least one will be a woman nominated by the Chancellor
