Power to seal

If the cess and penalty payable under this Act, are not paid by the generating company or UPCL (for commercial and industrial consumers), as the case may be, with in a period of 60 days from the date of issue of demand notice, the collector, sub-Inspector or sub-Authority shall seal the project/building or institution, as the case may be, the sealing shall remain effective till the cess and penalty are recovered.
