(1) No personal information shall be collected, processed, or used under this Act without the free, informed, specific, and unambiguous consent of the individual to whom the data pertains or, in the case of a family, the head of the family or any consenting adult member thereof, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws of the country.
(2) Such consent shall be obtained in such form and manner as may be prescribed, and shall be revocable, and denial of consent shall not affect the entitlement of any person to receive any benefit, service, or scheme under any law, unless such data is indispensable to determine eligibility for such benefit, service or scheme.
