Short title, Extent and Commencement

(1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Commission for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes Act, 2001. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttarakhand. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the date of publication.
