Statues

Subject to the provisions of this Act, to the condition the Statutes may provide for any matter relating to the University and shall, in particular, provide for- (a) the conferment of honorary degrees ; (b) to be conferment of degrees organizing of convocation; (c) the powers and duties of the officers of the University ; (d) the constitution, powers and duties of the authorities of the University under this Act; (e) the establishment, departments, research and specific academic institutions and abolition and re-organization of hostels maintained by the University; (f) acceptance and management of the bequests, donations and endowments; (g) registration of graduates and maintenance of a register of registered Graduates. (h) procedure for conducting meetings and conduct of works of Authorities of the University; (i) qualifications of the Professor, Reader, Lecturer of the in affiliated colleges and recognition institutions; (j) all other matters which by this Act are to be or may be provided for by the Statutes.
