The Chancellor

(1) The Governor of the Uttrakhand shall be the Chancellor of the University. (2) He shall, by virtue of his office be the Head of the University and the President of the Executive Council and shall, when present, preside at meeting of the Executive Council, and at any convocation of the University. (3) The Chancellor shall have such other powers as may be conferred on him by or under this Act or the Statutes.
