Compliance of provisions of convention

Every vessel, company or port shall be surveyed, audited and certified to confirm compliance with the following conventions as applicable, namely:--

1. (a) the Safety Convention;
2. (b) the MARPOL Convention;
3. (c) the Anti-Fouling Systems Convention;
4. (d) the Ballast Water Management Convention;
5. (e) the Load Lines Conventions;
6. (f) the Tonnage Measurement Convention, 1969;
7. (g) the Special Trade Passenger Ships Agreement, 1971 and its Protocol;
8. (h) the Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972;
   • (i) the International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue, 1979 (SAR 1979);
9. (j) the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006; or
10. (k) any other convention relating to survey, audit or certification as may be prescribed.
