1. (m) to cause annual audit of its accounts;
2. (n) to assist in the conduct of elections to the Managing Committee;
3. (o) to maintain other records as may be prescribed;
4. (p) to abide by the decisions of the distributory and project committees;
5. (q) to conduct general body meetings, as may be prescribed;
6. (r) to encourage avenue plantation on canal bunds and tank bunds by leasing such bunds; 45[XXX]
7. (s) to conduct regular water budgeting and also to conduct periodical social audit, as may be prescribed; 46[(t) to encourage modernization of agriculture in its area of operation; and
8. (u) to maintain the feeder channels of minor irrigation tanks by the respective water users association in the manner prescribed.] 18. The distributory committee shall perform the following functions namely:-
