The Telangana Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987(3) Where the ex-office holder fails to deliver possession of the records, accounts or properties within the time specified in the order of the Magistrate under sub-section (2), he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to six months or with fine, which may extend to Rs. 2,000 or with both; and the Magistrate shall cause the possession of the records, accounts or properties to be delivered to the successor, taking such police assistance as may be necessary. (4) The order of appointment of the successor and the certificate referred to in clause (b) of sub-section (2) shall not be called in question in the proceedings before the, Magistrate under this section. (5) Nothing in this section shall bar the institution of a suit in a competent court by any person aggrieved by an order under this section for establishing his title to the properties specified in the certificate referred to in sub-section (2).
