Certain persons to be public servants

Every arbitrator, administrator, authorised officer and every other officer empowered by the Government, while exercising any power or performing any duty under this Act shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (Central Act XLV of 1860).
