Statutory text
(1) This Act may be called the Letters Patent providing for Sheriff Appointment (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 1983. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 19th December 1982.
