Chapter II THE UNIVERSITY

Statutory text
  1. (1) There shall be established a University by the name 'the Anna University, Tiruchirappalli'.
  2. (2) The University shall be a body corporate, shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the said name.
  3. (3) The Headquarters of the University shall be located within the limits of the Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation or in any place within a radius of twenty-five kilometres around those limits.
