3. New Siddha medical institution not to be established without approval of Council and Government
Statutory text
- (1) No person shall establish any Siddha medical institution except with the prior approval of the Council and the Government: Provided that the approval of the Government under this sub-section shall be given only after the Council has given its approval.
- (2) Nothing contained in sub-section
- (1) shall apply to the Siddha medical institution established by the Government. (3)
- (a) Every application for approval of the Council under sub-section
- (1) shall be made in such form, with such particulars and in such manner as may be prescribed in the regulations.
- (b) Every application for approval of the Government under sub-section
- (1) shall be made in such form, with such particulars and in such manner as may be prescribed.
- (4) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), any Siddha medical institution established before the date of commencement of this Act and is in existence on the date of such commencement shall be deemed to have been approved by the Council and by the Government under this section.
