Tribunal

(1) The Government may, by notification, constitute as many Tribunals as may be necessary for the purposes of this Act. (2) Each Tribunal shall consist of one person only who shall be a judicial officer not below the rank of a district judge; (3) Each Tribunal shall have such jurisdiction and over such area or in relation to such class of private colleges, as the Government may, by notification, from time to time, determine. (4) Every Tribunal shall have the same powers as are vested in a civil court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908), while hearing an appeal.
