Appeal against orders of competent authority
The Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976(1) Any person aggrieved by any order, decision or direction of the competent authority under any provision of this Act may prefer an appeal against such order, decision or direction, to such authority or officer as may be prescribed; and different authorities or officers may be prescribed for different classes of private colleges. (2) If the competent authority omits to communicate its decision to any applicant within the period prescribed under clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 7 such applicant may prefer an appeal against such omission to the appellate authority prescribed under this section. (1) in sub-section (1), after the expression "any provision" the expression "(including section 25)" shall be inserted; (2) in sub-section (2), after the expression "section 7", the expression "or under sub-section (3) of section 25" shall be inserted.
