1. Short title

This Act may be called the "Tamil Nadu Indian Ports (Amendment) Act, 1925".
2. Amendment of Part II of the First Schedule of Central Act XV of 1908
Statutory text
For clause (a) of Explanation 1 to Part II of the First Schedule to the Indian Ports Act, 1908, the following clause shall be substituted, namely :—
" Ship " means a vessel propelled solely by wind power and " steamer " any vessel other than a ship.
