Committee

(1) As soon as after the commencement of this Act, the State Government shall constitute such Committee or Committees to be called by such nomenclature as may be notified for the management of such places of pilgrimage as would be specified in the notification. (2) Notwithstanding anything in any other law for the time being in force or custom, usage or contract, deed or engagement, the administration and the governance of the places of pilgrimage and its endowments shall vest in the committee as may be constituted under the provisions of this Act. (3) It shall be a body corporate, having perpetual succession and a common seal, and may, by the said name, sue and be sued.
