Action on investigation against public servant being Chief Minister, Ministers or Members of the State Legls!atIve Assembly

Where, after the conclusion of the investigation, the findings of the Lokayukta disclose the commission of an offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 by a public servant referred to in clause (a) or clause (b) or clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 13, the Lokayukta may file a case in the Special Court and shall send a copy of the report together with its findings to the competent authority or may forward the findings of the Lokayukta to the concerned prosecuting agency of the State Government with a direction to pursue the matter in the Special Court and send report to the Lokayukta on the status and outcome of the prosecution from time to time.
