Meetings of the Board.
The Sikkim Housing And Development Board Act, 1979The Board shall meet and shall from time to time make such arrangements with respect to the day, time, notice and adjournment of its meetings as it thinks fit, subject to the following conditions, namely- (a) an ordinary meeting shall be held at least once in every two months; (b) the Chairman may, whenever he thinks fit, call a special meeting; (c) the quorum for every meeting shall be four; Provided that when a meeting has been adjourned to another date for want of quorum no quorum shall be necessary in the case of the adjourned meeting; (d) every meeting shall be presided over by the Chairman and in the absence of the Chairman by any member chosen by the members present; (e) all questions at any meeting shall be decided by a majority of the members present and in case of equality of votes, the person presiding shall have and exercise a second or casting vote; (f) the minutes of the proceedings of each meeting shall be recorded in a book to be provided for the purpose.
