4. Amendment of section 12, the University of Rajasthan Act, 1946.- In section 12 of the principal Act, after sub-section (7), the following sub-section, shall be and shall be deemed always to have been inserted as if the provision thereof were in force on the date on which the Vice-Chancellor holding office, immediately before the commencement of the amending Act, took charge of the duties of his office, namely:- "(8) The term of the office of the Vice-Chancellor shall commence with effect from the date of joining the duties of his office."
