Definition

2. Definition.- In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,-

1. (i) "amending act" means the University of Rajasthan (Amendment) Act, 1962;
2. (ii) (ii) "Deans" in relation to the members of the reconstituted Syndicate, means the Deans of the Faculties of Arts, Science and Medicine respectively;
3. (iii) (iii) "Principal Act" means the University of Rajasthan Act, 1946, as amended by the Amending Act;
4. (iv) (iv) "Re-constituted authorities" means the Senate and Syndicate of the University of Rajasthan, as first re-constituted after the commencement of the amending Act;
5. (v) (v) "Removal of difficulties order" means the University of Rajasthan (Removal of Difficulties) (First) Order, 1962, dated 28th day of November, 1962.
