The contract shall not be inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and the Statutes for the time being in force in relation to the conditions of service.

Age of retirement Subject to any provision in the Statutes to the contrary or any directions or policy of the State Government in this regard, all the employees of the University shall ordinarily retire from service upon attaining the age of sixty years.
