Composition and functions of the faculties

(1) There shall be such faculties in the University as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(2) Each faculty shall consist of the following:-(a) Dean of the Faculty - Chairman;(b) University professors of the subjects assigned to the Faculty;(c) Chairmen of the Boards of Studies in the faculty;(d) one Post-graduate College Principal and one Postgraduate Department Head in each subject of the Faculty from affiliated colleges, nominated by the State Government; and(e) two External experts nominated by the Academic Council.(3) The Faculty shall perform such functions as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
