Constitution and composition of the Board of Management

(1) The Board shall be the highest executive body of the University and shall consist of the following members, namely:- (I) the Vice-Chancellor of the University- Chairman; (II) Ex-officio Members- (i) the Secretary in charge of Finance Department or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government; (ii) the Secretary in charge of Higher Education Department or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government; (iii) the Secretary in charge of Technical Education Department or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government; (iv) the Commissioner/Director, as the case may be, of College Education Department, Government of Rajasthan; (v) the Commissioner/Director, as the case may be, of Technical Education Department, Government of Rajasthan; and (vi) the Registrar of the University, Member-Secretary. Explanation.- For the purpose of this clause, “Secretary in charge” means the Secretary in charge of the Department and includes an Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary when he is in charge of a department. (III) Nominated Members- (i) two persons nominated by the Vice- Chancellor from amongst the Deans for one year;
